3 DAYS INTENSIVE LEADERSHIP BOOTCAMP (Training Teenagers to become purposeful leaders)

The Intensive Leadership Bootcamp is a 3-days training program organized strictly for senior adolescents from ages 15 and above, to first instill in them the need to begin seeing themselves as today and future leaders. The training is also to empower them with sound leadership skills and create scenarios for them to practically engage leadership skills like critical thinking and problem-solving.
The training which was held at Methodist High School, Makurdi, was packed with 9 teachings, focus group discussions, group activities, assignments and group presentations. The teaching contents were soundly developed into PowerPoint slides to incorporate godly guides, mixed with leadership principles from John Maxwell. The rich delivery styles of guest lecturers made the training to be fun and engaging as participants never felt bored, but enthusiastic, and always full of expectations at the end of each day.
At the end of the 3 days, over 60 senior adolescents were trained and empowered with leadership skills for a bright future. Also in a twist, 2 adolescents won a keenly contested business pitch presentation that involved over 10 contestants and they were each awarded the cash sum of N50,000.
Overall, 90% of participants who attended the training agreed to have learnt some leadership skills, received increased knowledge on leadership and purposeful living and rated the training high in relevance and usefulness.
