Mindset Re-orientation
Skills, Medicine Tests, Relief...
October was a month of impact and commitment. Teenagers Care for Sustainable Development Initiative joined the global movement for the International Day of the Girl Child 2024, dedicating three Fridays to transformative programs at Abagena IDP Camp in Benue State. From mental well-being sessions to sex education workshops on premarital sex and its consequences, we created a safe space where young girls could learn, heal, and grow.

How We Solve This Project
Partnering with Sunrise Laboratory, we offered free medical consultations and testing. Over 45 teenage girls received screenings for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV. By blending health awareness with empowerment, we provided not just information, but also tools for healthier and more confident futures.
Â
We believe in nurturing teenagers who can rise above challenges, make informed decisions, and play meaningful roles in their communities.
Health Access
Free testing and consultations gave girls vital knowledge about their health status.
Knowledge for Life
Practical sessions on mental well-being and sex education encouraged informed choices.
Partnership in Action
Collaborating with Sunrise Laboratory made quality healthcare available to underserved girls.
